For online stores named in an ADA website complaint

Fix the barriers in the complaint in 14 days.

We fix the accessibility barriers named in your complaint in your site's own code, and hand your attorney a dated remediation log. Fixed price. The second half is only due when every named barrier re-tests clean.

Free. Report within one business day. This is technical work, not legal advice.

The problem

A settlement closes one case. The site is still the same.

  • Most website accessibility cases settle, but a settlement does not change the code. In 2025, close to half of federal website accessibility cases were filed against companies that had been sued before (UsableNet, 2025 year-end report).
  • Settlement agreements usually set a deadline to bring the site up to WCAG 2.1 AA, often 90 to 180 days, and someone has to show the work was done.
  • Overlay widgets do not fix the underlying code, and sites running them keep getting named in new complaints.

How it works

Four steps, fourteen days.

  1. 01

    Free re-test

Within one business day we test your live site against the barrier types your complaint describes and send you a short report: what still fails, page by page.

  2. 02

    Manual audit

Your core templates (home, collection, product, cart, account, contact) tested with keyboard only and with screen readers, plus automated checks.

  3. 03

    Fixes in your code

Text alternatives, button and link names, form labels, focus order, keyboard traps, contrast, headings and ARIA, fixed in your theme or front end. Never an overlay.

  4. 04

    Re-test and log

Every barrier re-tested and recorded with what changed and when, in a remediation log your attorney can use.

What you get

What you get.

  • Audit of six core templates against WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA
  • Code fixes on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento and custom front ends
  • A dated remediation log: barrier, location, change, re-test result
  • An accessibility statement page with a contact route for users
  • A list of third-party widgets you can't edit, with each vendor's own accessibility status
  • 30 days of free fixes for anything our changes break

Price

$3,500, fixed. Half when every named barrier passes.

One price for most online stores, agreed before we start. If a barrier named in the complaint still fails our re-test after day 14, we keep working on it at no extra cost and the second half is not due until it passes.

Questions

Questions owners ask after they've been sued.

Will this end the lawsuit?

No one can promise that, and we don't give legal advice. Decisions about the case stay with you and your attorney. What we give you is a fixed site and a record of the work, which is what settlement terms usually ask for.

Why not an accessibility widget?

Widgets sit on top of the page and leave the code as it was. Complaints are written against the code, and companies using widgets keep getting sued.

How much does it cost?

The 14-Day Complaint Remediation Sprint is a fixed $3,500 for most online stores. Half is paid to start. The second half is only due once every barrier named in the complaint re-tests clean.

What do you need from us?

A collaborator account on your store or CMS (you can revoke it any time), a staging theme where the platform allows it, and feedback within two business days.

What about after the 14 days?

New products, pages and campaigns add new issues. An optional monthly re-test at $350 keeps the core templates in check. Cancel any time.
