Guzen LLC is a US engineering company. We build revenue and risk systems for two kinds of businesses, with senior engineers, and we run our own systems on our own business first.

How the work is structured

The systems lead

Designs the systems, directs the engineers and the agent fleet, and owns scope and quality. Approves anything that cannot be undone.

The engineers

Specialists in enterprise systems, cloud, infrastructure, product engineering and security, staffed to the work. Senior people on every project, direct access, no layers.

An agent fleet

Scheduled agents do the repetitive work. A reviewer reads what they wrote, and a person reads the verdict. The fleet is one of the systems on the work page.

Our engineers come from enterprise software, cloud, infrastructure and commerce engineering, inside large enterprises and platform companies. Every Guzen project gets that rigor, without the overhead.

Projects are staffed from the team above. No juniors learning on your budget, no account managers between you and the engineer.

What we take on

  • Direct-booking websites for hotels, spas, clinics and restaurants: the site, the booking integration, and the upkeep.
  • Vendor insurance compliance for US franchisors and facilities-services firms, run for them as a managed service.
  • The engineering under both: integrations, rules engines, cloud, DevOps and security.
  • We do not build systems that act on people without a human approving the action.

How we work

We start by finding where a system can do harm, and put a person or a deterministic check there before anything else. We would rather ship a system that stops than one that guesses. Each one runs on Guzen’s own business first, because the failures worth learning from are the ones that cost you something.

The name

Gu, ferocity: the refusal to leave a system half-built. Zen, stillness: the discipline to know when it is finished.

Read together, 偶然 (guzen) means chance. Businesses don’t begin as clean systems; they begin as fragments that arrived together by chance. The work is to give those fragments structure without erasing the judgment already in them.
